Turkey and Russia's Foreign Ministers Meet

The Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during the 17th BRICS Summit held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

During the meeting, bilateral political and economic issues were discussed, along with cooperation in the energy sector. The risks associated with the escalation of Israeli aggression in the region, the events in Gaza, Iran's nuclear activities, the situation in Afghanistan, and other regional issues were also assessed.
