Putin May Change Members of Russian Delegation to Istanbul Talks
If the issues of the Russian negotiating team in Istanbul change, it is likely that its composition will also change. This opinion was shared by State Duma deputy Leonid Ivlev in an interview with TASS.
According to Ivlev, the current negotiating team is currently addressing all issues and is well-balanced. However, in the future, Russian President Vladimir Putin may decide to alter it.
“These are people who have up-to-date information, experience in global politics, knowledge, and recognition of Ukraine. There will be new issues; it is possible that the group will change. But this is the president's decision,” said the deputy.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Ankara is ready to host the next negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
