Lavrov on Reports of Russia Attacking European Countries
Russia is not planning to “attack” European countries, let alone “occupy” them. This was stated by Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with the Hungarian newspaper “Magyar Nemzet.”
“We have no knowledge of any plans to attack Europe, and even less so to “occupy” it,” said the minister, commenting on reports from Western intelligence agencies suggesting that Russian President Vladimir Putin is allegedly preparing to occupy Europe and expand Russian influence there.
