Zelensky Fears Forgetting, Says Zakharova

The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that Vladimir Zelensky is "terribly afraid of being forgotten, that the West will no longer need him, and that the West will somehow throw him aside."

Zelensky, who is demanding a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, seeks to reaffirm his legitimacy by circumventing legal means. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during an interview on the program "The Big Question."

"He does not leave the microphones. In my opinion, he is already sleeping with the camera on and giving these online interviews, making speeches anywhere," the diplomat emphasized. According to her, Zelensky needs every opportunity to simply appear on air.

Zakharova explained Zelensky's desire by saying that, firstly, he has a "terrible fear of being forgotten," and secondly, there is a "mental illness of this nature."
