Israel Approves Additional Humanitarian Aid to Gaza Strip

The Israeli government has approved a plan to deliver additional humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. According to Times of Israel, the aid expansion will be carried out through international humanitarian organizations.

The Deputy Director of the World Food Program has informed the publication that the authorities of the Jewish state allow the import of 100 truckloads of food daily through the Netzarim corridor and the Erez crossing. However, he pointed out that the Erez crossing has been closed following reports of armed militants seizing trucks.
