Stateless Individuals to Serve in Russia's Armed Forces
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law allowing stateless individuals to serve in the Russian Armed Forces under contract. The explanatory note accompanying the document states, "This procedure for the implementation of new norms is intended to provide additional measures for the urgent recruitment of the Russian Armed Forces."
