China Launches Laser Attack on German Aircraft

The German Ministry of Foreign Affairs has accused China of launching a laser attack on a German aircraft participating in the "Aspides" operation in the Red Sea. The ministry stated that the threat to German personnel is unacceptable. In connection with the incident, the Chinese ambassador has been summoned to the ministry.

It is noteworthy that the "Aspides" mission was launched by the European Union last year to secure navigation in the region.
