Fire in One of Yerevan's Neighborhoods Claims Three Lives
A fire that erupted in Yerevan's Victory neighborhood has resulted in fatalities. Emergency responders discovered the bodies of three citizens inside the house.
On July 3, at 00:11, the National Crisis Management Center received an alert about a fire breaking out in one of the houses on Second Alley of Summer Housing Street in the Victory neighborhood.
Three firefighting teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene, along with operational units from the National Crisis Management Center, as well as medical support teams and on-duty psychologists from the Psychological Support Division.
The fire was classified with a complexity level of "1 BIS," prompting the dispatch of two additional firefighting teams from the Yerevan Rescue Department.
It was determined that the fire started inside one of the houses, where citizens were present. The fire was contained at 01:02 and extinguished by 01:05. The house was completely burned (approximately 60 square meters), along with the roofs of the main and adjoining houses (totaling about 120 square meters).
