These Killings Pose Serious Threats, Lavrov
The assassination of Iranian military leaders and scientists poses serious threats to the regime of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. This was announced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry also noted that international law does not encourage the preventive use of force against a state that has not attacked.
Lavrov also touched upon the ceasefire between Iran and Israel, stating that it is still too early to draw conclusions. “It is difficult to form a clear understanding of the events occurring there. At the same time, Russia welcomes any agreement that will lead to a ceasefire. Let us not make any hasty conclusions based on fragmented information. But we are advocates for peace,” he said.
