Striking Iran has opened Pandora's box: Nebenzya on US aggression

“The US has opened Pandora's box by striking Iran,” stated Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, during an emergency Security Council meeting.

According to him, Washington’s actions are irresponsible and provocative, dealing a significant blow to the international nuclear non-proliferation regime and bringing the world closer to a nuclear catastrophe.

Russia firmly condemns the United States' reckless, dangerous, and provocative actions against Iran. Nebenzya emphasized that the US strikes on Iran's nuclear infrastructure pave the way for a wide-ranging escalation of conflict in the Middle East, with unpredictable consequences.
