Israel is Close to Achieving Its Goals, Netanyahu
Israel is “very close” to realizing its goals against Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated at a press conference, as reported by TASS news agency.
“It is a regime that wishes to destroy us, and that is why we began operations to eliminate two specific threats to our existence: the nuclear threat and the threat of ballistic missiles. We are moving step by step towards achieving those goals; we are very close to them,” Netanyahu said.
The Prime Minister emphasized that Israel “will not get drawn into a war of attrition” but “will not halt this historic operation until it achieves all its objectives.”
“When we reach our goals in Iran, we will not continue beyond what is necessary, but we will not stop the operation too soon,” he noted.
“We have already achieved a lot, and now, with President Trump’s help, we have come even closer to achieving our objectives.”
It is noteworthy that the U.S. decided to engage in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran by targeting Iranian nuclear facilities on June 22. Iran has stated that it reserves the right to respond.
