Attacks on Ukrainian Military Training Areas

Three people have been killed and at least 14 others injured as a result of a Russian missile strike on a Ukrainian military training area in the Kherson region, Ukrainian authorities have reported. This marks the third attack on Ukrainian military training areas in just a month.

According to the press service of Ukraine's ground forces, training exercises were taking place with soldiers at a temporary training base before the attack. The strike was likely carried out using a Russian Iskander ballistic missile.

Early on June 23, Ukrainian officials also reported that Kyiv was once again under a "massive attack" from Russian forces. A 68-year-old woman was confirmed dead, along with numerous injuries reported. A fire was recorded near the entrance of a metro station, which residents of the city often use as a bomb shelter.
