It Would Be Extremely Dangerous for Everyone: Iran's Foreign Ministry

The participation of the U.S. in the war would be extremely dangerous for everyone. This statement was made by Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation held in Istanbul.

“Diplomacy has worked in the past and can work in the future. However, to return to diplomacy, aggression must be stopped,” said the minister. Araghchi emphasized that Israel is openly opposed to diplomacy, yet Iran has expressed its willingness to negotiate with Israel.

According to him, Iran wants to resolve the issue through negotiations: “Once again, as in 2015, we are absolutely ready for a resolution through talks.”
