What Agenda Does Pashinyan Have for His Visit to Turkey? A MP from the Civil Contract Party Details

We are trying to build Armenian-Turkish relations in the context of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. This was stated by Vladimir Vardanian, a member of the National Assembly from the "Civil Contract" faction and chairman of the Permanent Commission on Legal Affairs, during a parliamentary briefing today in response to a question about the agenda of the Prime Minister’s visit to Turkey.

“We must consider that Armenian-Turkish relations are of significant importance. We cannot change geography and we should maintain friendly relations with our neighbors, which will allow us to create an environment in this changing world that will bring long-term and sustainable peace to the region,” said Vardanian in response to inquiries about a potential meeting with the president of Azerbaijan in Turkey and the likelihood of signing any documents.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan departed for Turkey today at noon, where he is expected to meet with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Other questions regarding the visit’s agenda have been kept confidential so far.
