Iran Launches Retaliatory Strikes: Iranian Foreign Ministry

Iran is exclusively targeting Israeli military and intelligence facilities, as stated by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, Saeed Khatibzadeh.

"We are not conducting a retaliatory attack. We have been attacked, and we respond in accordance with our legitimate right to self-defense. We have launched missile strikes only against military and intelligence facilities, as well as centers that are directing the aggression," the minister said.

He added, "If these attacks cease, then the choice will be made in favor of diplomacy."

It should be noted that earlier reports indicated that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are currently striking Iranian military targets located in the western and central parts of the country.
