In This Sense, All of Ukraine is Ours: Putin

Russia is not seeking Ukraine's capitulation, but rather the acknowledgment of realities on the ground. This statement was made by President Vladimir Putin during a plenary session at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

"This is fundamentally a different situation, and we are not striving for Ukraine's capitulation. We insist on recognizing the realities that have been created on the ground," Putin stated.

Putin also added, "I consider the Russian and Ukrainian peoples to be one people; in this sense, all of Ukraine is ours." Remember that on the early morning of February 24, 2022, President Putin announced the decision to carry out a special military operation against Ukraine due to requests for assistance from the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
