Weapons to Be Supplied from Germany to Israel

In the first quarter of 2025, discussions have taken place regarding the supply of 28 million euros worth of arms from Germany to Israel. This information was reported by Die Welt.

The cabinet of Friedrich Merz has permitted German manufacturers to supply nearly 4 million euros worth of weapons to Israel during the first five weeks of coming to power. This was confirmed by the Ministry of Economy in response to a query from a lawmaker from the left-wing party, clarifying that these are not military weapons, according to the German publication Die Welt.

The new government has disclosed the volume of approved supplies for the first time. As noted by Die Welt, since October 7, 2023, the government of Olaf Scholz has approved nearly half a billion euros worth of supplies.
