Production Activities of Two More Public Catering Outlets Owned by 'Pizza Tashir' Suspended
The production activities of two more public catering outlets owned by 'Pizza Tashir' LLC have been suspended, following a request submitted by the company to the Food Safety Inspectorate.
Currently, control is being exercised over all 30 public catering outlets belonging to 'Pizza Tashir'. During inspections at the branch located at 18/77 Northern Avenue in Yerevan, inspectors from the Food Safety Department identified several violations of established sanitary and hygienic norms.
For instance, the ceilings of the public catering establishment were not constructed to prevent or minimize the accumulation of dirt, condensation of steam, and the potential dropping of particles. Some floor areas lacked a smooth surface and were not in a state of repair. The door for food storage and a portion of the facilities were also not maintained properly, making them difficult to clean and disinfect; they were not made from smooth, cleanable, and corrosion-resistant materials. The walls did not have a smooth surface and were not made from waterproof, non-absorbent, washable, and non-toxic materials.
The production activities of this branch have been suspended, with a deadline set for remedying the violations. The branch located at 14 Erebuni has also been suspended.
