Operations of Two Public Catering Venues Owned by Samvel Karapetyan's 'Pizza Tashir' Suspended

The operations of two public catering venues owned by 'Pizza Tashir' LLC have been suspended following a breach of sanitary and hygiene regulations.

According to a request submitted by 'Pizza Tashir' LLC to the Food Safety Inspectorate, oversight is currently being conducted at 30 public catering venues owned by the organization. During an inspection at their branch located at 22 Isaakyan Street, Yerevan, serious violations of the sanitary-hygienic norms mandated by legal acts were discovered.

Specifically, the walls of the public catering venue lacked smooth surfaces, and they were not constructed from waterproof, non-absorbent, washable, disinfectable, and non-toxic materials. The ceilings were not built in a way that would prevent or minimize the accumulation of dirt, condensation of steam, and the possibility of particles falling. Additionally, some areas of the floor designated for the preparation, processing, or handling of food did not have a smooth, repaired surface.

As a result, the branch's production activities have been suspended, and a deadline has been set for the elimination of the violations. Later, the Food Safety Inspectorate announced that the production activities of another public catering facility operated by 'Pizza Tashir' LLC at 69 Teryan Street, Yerevan, have also been suspended until the identified violations are corrected.
