What Conditions Does Iran Have for Continuing Negotiations with the USA

The USA must stop Israeli attacks on Tehran for negotiations to resume. This was stated by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

“If the USA wants to resume negotiations, it must first halt Israel's regional aggression,” he said. Pezeshkian added that “Iran does not seek to escalate the war,” but will respond to “any attacks on Iranian soil.” Earlier, Pezeshkian stated, “America allows Israel to carry out aggression and attack our country, contrary to international law.”
