Iran’s Ambassador Speaks on Support from the Armenian People

“We thank the authorities of the Republic of Armenia for their decisive stance in condemning this aggression,” stated Mehdi Sobhani, the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, during a press conference on the 5th day of the Iran-Israel war.

“We highly appreciate the support and solidarity from the Armenian people; we feel the spiritual backing of the Armenian nation,” added the ambassador.

“The illegal armed attack by the Zionist regime against Iran is an assault on the entire UN system and poses a serious threat to international peace and security. The Security Council must intervene to stop this aggression,” the ambassador emphasized.

It is worth noting that previously, the Armenian Embassy in Israel issued a statement. Recall that on the morning of June 13, the Israeli Defense Forces launched airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities and residential buildings.
