The Decisive Blow is in the Hands of the US: Israeli Army Spokesman
Israeli Army spokesman Efi Defrin noted that they need President Trump to approve their request for support in destroying the Fordow facility. "We have already dealt a devastating blow to Iran, but the decisive blow is in America’s hands," he stated.
According to him, international media has been discussing that Israel is not capable of independently destroying Iran's nuclear facilities, particularly Fordow, which is located 80 meters deep in rocky terrain. "The GBU-28 bombs at Israel's disposal can penetrate concrete structures up to 6 meters deep. However, in the case of Fordow, a more powerful weapon is required—the American 13-ton GBU-57 bomb, which can penetrate concrete structures up to 61 meters deep. This bomb requires an American B-2 bomber for transport, implying direct U.S. involvement. Without U.S. support, Israel's declared objective is likely to remain unattainable," he said.
