Russian Citizens in Israel Advised to Leave the Country, Says Russian Ambassador

Russian citizens currently in Israel are advised to leave the country until the situation normalizes, announced Anatoly Viktorov, the Russian Ambassador to Israel, during a broadcast on Rossiya 24.

Viktorov reminded that there are several options available for Russians to exit Israel and return to Russia. "There is a border crossing near Eilat, which operates 24 hours a day, allowing you to cross into Egypt, from where you can fly back home via Sharm El Sheikh or Cairo on Aeroflot flights," he said, adding that several dozen Russian citizens have already utilized this route, according to RBK.

The Taba border crossing serves as the land border point between Israel's Eilat and Egypt's Taba, located at the southernmost point of Eilat's coastline, between the Red Sea and the Eilat Mountains, approximately 10 kilometers south of the city.
