Trump Speaks on Strikes Against Iran

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he was aware in advance of Israel's strikes on Iranian targets. In an interview with a political commentator from Fox News, Trump mentioned that he was not surprised by Israel's attack.

This is the first statement from the President following the Israeli strike on Iran, in which he said: "We remain committed to a diplomatic resolution of the Iranian nuclear issue. My entire administration has been instructed to engage in negotiations with Iran. Iran could be a great country, but first, it must abandon hopes of acquiring nuclear weapons. Thank you for your attention to this issue."

It is worth noting that on the night of June 13, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) initiated a large-scale operation named 'Operation Lion's Rise', during which the Air Force targeted military objectives and sites related to Iran's nuclear program.
