If He Attempts to Deny It, I Will Prove It in the Necessary Format: Pashinyan

Garegin II has violated the oath he voluntarily took by engaging in partisanship and has a child. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Facebook.

"This is a fact, and if Garegin II tries to deny it, I will prove it in the necessary format. Accordingly, according to the Canon Law of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Garegin II could not have been a bishop, an archbishop, he could not have been elected, nor can he be the Catholicos. Kitrich Nersisyan must free the Holy See.

As a faithful follower of the Armenian Apostolic Church, as someone who deeply values every piece of our spiritual heritage, every artifact, every image, and stone, I note that the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church must have a newly elected Catholicos, whose virtue will be verified and confirmed before the elections. I urge the faithful followers of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church to unite to lovingly and Christianly free the Holy See and to establish an agenda for the election of a genuinely sacred spiritual leader as the Catholicos of All Armenians," wrote the Prime Minister.
