Iran Calls for Emergency UN Security Council Meeting Regarding Israeli Aggression

On June 13, Iran sent an official letter to the President of the UN Security Council urging the convening of an emergency meeting in response to Israel's shameless aggression against Iran. This was reported by Tasnim News.

Condemning the attacks carried out by Israel on Iran's peaceful nuclear facilities with the support of the United States, the Iranian mission requested the UN Security Council to take decisive actions in response to Israel's criminal and provocative assaults.

Among the martyrs of the Israeli strikes on Friday morning were Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri, Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, Commander of Iran's Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters, and at least six other Iranians.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, warned the Zionist regime that it would face severe punishment for its strike, stating, "With this crime, the Zionist regime has prepared a bitter and painful fate for itself, which it will undoubtedly witness."
