Trump Accuses Putin of Indifference to Heavy Losses in Ukraine War

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Vladimir Putin does not seem concerned about the heavy losses suffered during the war against Ukraine. This was reported by RBC Ukraine.

In response to a question about what "winning cards" the United States possesses to compel Russia and Ukraine to end the war, Trump replied that Moscow is losing "5,000 soldiers every week."

“Perhaps Putin is not worried about this; I'm starting to think he doesn't care. He is losing many soldiers, just like Ukraine is. Let's see what happens next,” Trump said.

He also added that there had been some progress in negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, but then “they bombed what shouldn’t have been bombed.” This setback disrupted the progress made.
