At least 49 people have died in South Africa due to heavy snowfall and flooding, including children whose school bus was swept away by the floodwaters, CNN reports.
A powerful cyclone has swept into parts of South Africa, bringing rain and snow, as well as causing widespread flooding. According to regional authorities, in Eastern Cape, one of the most affected provinces, the floods have forced many people to evacuate their homes, leading to power outages and significant traffic disruptions.
