Russian Drones Carry Out Mass Airstrike: Casualties Reported
Russia has launched drone strikes on Kyiv and Odesa early this morning. According to Reuters, one person has been killed and several buildings, including a maternity hospital in the southern port of Odesa, have been damaged as a result of the attacks.
City authorities reported that at least four people have been hospitalized following hours of attacks on seven out of ten districts in Kyiv. Andriy Yermak, head of Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s office, stated after the strikes: "Terrorism cannot break the Ukrainians."
Timur Tkachenkо, head of the Kyiv military district, also issued a statement noting, "It was a difficult night for all of us." He added, "The enemy mercilessly terrorized Kyiv with strike drones all night long. They targeted civilian infrastructure and peaceful residents of the city."
