If the National Security Service took a document from my girlfriend's bra, I’m okay with it – Agazaryan

Everyone knew that clergymen do not maintain celibacy; of course, this is also at the level of assumption, not proven fact. And when they say 'celibate', isn’t it true that this celibacy is accepted at some point later? This was stated by MP Hovik Agazaryan during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly.

“They say one can accept celibacy after the age of 30. So, before that, one wasn’t celibate, but then became celibate. This means that celibacy, as I, a mere mortal who has never been and does not consider myself a believer, understand it, is that these people do not marry in order to be free from those burdens and to serve. Later, when they say they violated celibacy, let’s go back through the centuries. Let’s count how many clerics we had at that level. We all know that they were educated, developed, strong individuals. Can you imagine if such people did not have descendants, we might not even have a country today,” said Agazaryan.

When asked, many compare and say that if they hadn’t allowed Pashinyan to try to read your SMS messages and invade your personal space back then, he wouldn’t repeat that with the Supreme Patriarch. Do you agree with that position? Agazaryan responded, “Yes, that is a very relevant question. If someone violates some conventional principles, it raises the question of morality. Which is more moral or immoral: that particular circumstance or the circumstance where you invade a person's private life and personal space?”

“Now, if the special services, regardless of how, take a document out of my girlfriend's bra, or take out a document containing valuable information for state security, I’m okay with it, even in a state where the bra is being worn. But if the special services or anyone else is staging a provocation, preparing such things, installing them in one place or another, and then supposedly finding and 'revealing' them, then may their consumed bread be cursed,” he stated.

When asked if he and Mr. Aslanyan would oppose impeachment, he replied, “We will not oppose the process initiated by ‘I Have Honor’, but we will not support it.”
