France to Produce Drones in Ukraine

The French automotive conglomerate Renault plans to begin the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the French military. This was reported by the Franceinfo radio station.

The company will manufacture armaments in collaboration with a French small and medium-sized enterprise specializing in the defense sector. Earlier, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced that a French auto manufacturer would expand the joint production of drones in Ukraine.

"Ukrainian specialists will work at the enterprise," the minister noted.

Renault has confirmed that the French Defense Ministry has approached the automotive conglomerate regarding the possibility of drone production.
