Armen Ashotyan to Remain Under House Arrest
Ofelya
The preventive measure for the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, has been extended today for another two months.
Judge Vahe Dolmazyan rejected the request of Ashotyan's lawyers to lift the house arrest. The Vice President of the RPA will remain under house arrest until August 11.
The next court session is scheduled for June 16.
It is noteworthy that Ashotyan was charged back in November 2022 with abuse of official powers and money laundering.
