181 Million Drams of Support Provided: Papoyan

The Ministry of Economy has implemented measures to provide support to entrepreneurs in the disaster-affected areas declared due to emergencies in the Lori and Tavush regions, an initiative that was not planned beforehand. This was stated by the Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan during the preliminary discussions of the joint session of the National Assembly's Standing Committees on Economic Affairs, Financial and Credit, and Budgetary Issues regarding the "Implementation of the Republic of Armenia's State Budget for 2024" annual report.

"We have provided 181 million drams in assistance," the minister announced, informing that the support is still ongoing, as some entrepreneurs have been given the opportunity to adjust their documents and resubmit them.

According to him, support has been granted to 155 beneficiaries.
