They Don't Need Their Citizens Alive or Dead: Zakharova
There is no nation in the world that would refuse to hand over their fallen soldiers to the soil. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, according to TASS.
“Ukraine does not need its citizens, neither alive nor dead, but there is a regime in Kyiv that adheres to inhumane ideologies and is committing genocide against its own people,” Zakharova said.
Earlier, it was reported that agreements would come into force on June 7. The Russian Ministry of Defense’s contact group arrived at the border with over 1,200 bodies, but Ukrainian representatives did not show up for the exchange. According to the head of the Russian delegation in negotiations with the Ukrainian side, Vladimir Medinsky, today, on the day of the Holy Trinity, Ukraine was supposed to accept its fallen soldiers.
