The ‘Armenia’ Faction on Davit Hambardzumyan’s Candidacy

Shortly before, the National Assembly ‘Honorary Right’ faction announced that the process of expressing no confidence in Pashinyan is being fleshed out, and they are nominating Masis Mayor Davit Hambardzumyan as the Prime Minister candidate.

Will the parliamentary opposition rally around Hambardzumyan’s candidacy, and will the ‘Armenia’ faction join the process? MediaHub sought to clarify this by speaking with faction leader Seyran Ohanyan.

“I have just read the statement. Next week, the ‘Armenia’ faction will announce its position. We need to discuss the matter,” Ohanyan noted in an interview with the media outlet.

When asked how he personally feels about Hambardzumyan’s candidacy, Seyran Ohanyan responded that he has no negative opinion about him.
