Azerbaijan's Position is Unchanged: Armenia Must Adapt to These Changes, Says Razi Nurullayev

A meeting was organized by the International Center for EU Studies (ICEUR) at the National Defense Academy in Vienna, Austria, bringing together representatives from various parties of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Azerbaijani MP Razi Nurullayev stated that the Armenian opposition is characterized by its uncompromising and biased stance, noting that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is making concessions, which has led to a delay in the signing of a peace agreement. "We have noted that Armenia is advancing equal conditions with Azerbaijan, almost like a victorious country. Azerbaijan's position is that it is impossible to rush into signing a peace treaty without resolving all disputes and leaving issues for future generations. For a peace treaty to be signed, Armenia must make changes to its constitution, jointly with Azerbaijan, call for the dissolution of the Minsk Group, refrain from provocations against Azerbaijan by the 'Peacekeeper' military organization in border areas, confirm the right of the Western Azerbaijan community to return to their ancestral lands, and many other circumstances that we emphasize are important. They openly state that as soon as they come to power, they will annul all the steps taken by Pashinyan. We have once again emphasized Azerbaijan's unchanged position and called on them to show an objective stance to establish peace in the region," the MP stated.

It should be noted that the meeting was organized between the president of the 'National Front' party, MP Razi Nurullayev, and Arif Hashimli, the chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the 'Musavat' party, Edmon Marukyan, the president of the 'Enlightened Armenia' party, and Arusya Julhakyan, a member of the ruling 'Civil Contract' party and MP.
