Fire in Cargo Truck: Casualties Reported

On June 6, at 16:18, the crisis management center of the Kotayk regional rescue service received information about a vehicle fire near a dormitory in Abovyan city. A firefighting team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations promptly responded to the scene.

It was discovered that the fire had ignited in the engine compartment of a Howo brand cargo truck. The driver and a passenger were taken to a medical center for treatment. The fire was contained by 16:21 and extinguished by 16:26. The engine compartment of the truck suffered partial damage, but the firefighters managed to prevent the spread of the fire.
