Enhanced Security at the National Assembly Building

The Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, Valentina Matviyenko, arrived at the National Assembly of Armenia today, June 6. In connection with this, police forces are implementing enhanced security measures in front of the National Assembly building.
It is noteworthy that Matviyenko and the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in Victory Park today.
As a reminder, on June 5, a delegation led by Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, arrived in Yerevan on an official visit. Meetings are scheduled with senior officials of Armenia during the visit.
