Iran's Supreme Leader Calls for Action
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has stated that Muslim countries must stop any aid to Israel and prevent its "further brutal actions" against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, according to Mehr news agency.
“The Zionist criminal group occupying Palestine has brought the tragedy in Gaza to an unimaginable level, with horrific brutality and unprecedented evil. Palestinian children today are dying not only from bombs and rockets but also from thirst and hunger. The number of families mourning their loved ones, young people, fathers, and mothers is increasing day by day. Who will confront this humanitarian disaster? Undoubtedly, the Islamic governments are the first ones responsible for fulfilling this obligation, and people should demand such actions from their governments. Muslim governments may have differing political views on various issues, but that should not hinder them from reaching an agreement and cooperating in light of the dire situation in Gaza,” the Supreme Leader emphasized in his message.
