Armenian Businessman Abducted in Moscow After Insulting Chechens and Muslims

Unknown individuals have abducted a man at Moscow's Yaroslavsky Railway Station. A black Mercedes approached the station, from which several men emerged, seized 40-year-old Armenian businessman Areg Shchepikhin, and took him away in an unknown direction. Witnesses called the police and posted videos online.

According to preliminary information, the reason for the abduction was a video containing insults directed at Chechens and Muslims made by Areg Shchepikhin. Later, near the Kievsky highway, law enforcement officials arrested the black car involved in the abduction. The whereabouts of the businessman remains unreported, though it has been noted that the vehicle belongs to close associates of Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov.
