Attack on Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport: 'Ansar Allah' Claims Victory
The Houthi movement 'Ansar Allah' from Yemen has launched a ballistic missile attack on Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport. This was reported by the spokesperson of the armed rebel forces, Yahya Saria, according to the Al Masirah television network.
According to Saria, missile forces conducted a military operation targeting Ben Gurion using a Zulfikar-type ballistic missile. He also stated that the operation 'successfully achieved its objective' and as a result, the airport's operations were suspended.
It is noteworthy that on June 1, the Houthis announced strikes against Ben Gurion and three other targets within Israel. Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported a missile launch from Yemen towards Israeli territory, noting that air defense systems were engaged in intercepting it.
Additionally, the Houthis had previously expressed intentions to blockade the Israeli port city of Haifa.
