Drones Are the Future of Warfare: Musk

American entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, commented on the attack of Ukrainian drones on Russian strategic aviation via X, calling drones the "future of warfare."

"Drones are the future of warfare. Airplanes are not," he wrote in response to a post by Sean Maguire, co-owner of Sequoia Capital.

"Ukraine just carried out an attack that was pivotal in the history of the war. Hundreds of drones were pre-deployed, then struck more than 40 aircraft in Russia, over 1000 km away. Drones costing less than 1 million dollars have caused over 1 billion dollars in damage. Critical infrastructures are no longer safe," Maguire pointed out.

It’s worth noting that earlier, Ukraine had carried out a strike on Russian strategic aviation with a special operation named "Spider Web."
