PSG Crowned Champions League Winners for the First Time in History

In the final of the 2024/25 Champions League season, French club PSG triumphed with a staggering 5-0 victory over Milan's Inter at the Allianz Arena in Munich, claiming the prestigious trophy for the first time in history.

This marks the first instance where a winning team in the final of the major European tournament has an advantage of 5 goals.

The scoring opened just 12 minutes into the match when Achraf Hakimi became the first player to score against his former team, Inter, in a Champions League final.

In the second half, 19-year-old Due Desiren scored a brace, making him the youngest player in history to score and assist in a final.

In the closing minutes of the game, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Seni Mayulu also found the back of the net.

Former Armenian national team captain Henrik Mkhitaryan started the match for the Nerazzurri and played for 61 minutes.
