15-Year-Old Stabs Brother with Knife

On May 22 at 22:26, the Police Department's operational management center received a report from a hospital stating that an ambulance had transported a 16-year-old boy with a diagnosis of "polytrauma." This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Following the incident, a criminal case was initiated in the Shengavit administrative district’s investigative department on the grounds of causing serious harm to health. Thanks to the operational-search measures undertaken by the criminal police of Yerevan, it was revealed that in their home on Bagratuniats Avenue, the 16-year-old had argued with his 15-year-old brother, during which the younger brother stabbed the elder with a kitchen knife.

The 15-year-old has been arrested and presented to the prosecuting authority. Investigators are working to clarify the circumstances surrounding the case.
