Ministry of Interior on the Identity of the Caller and Search Operations for Missing 2-Year-Old Tigran

Search operations for the 2-year-old boy, missing since May 4, have resumed with the same intensity early on May 12. The Ministry of Interior informed Auroranews that a large number of forces from the Rescue Service and the police are involved in the search efforts.

Regarding the report that a caller had played the sound of a child crying and then hung up, Ministry spokesperson Narek Sargsyan stated: “The identity of the caller has been verified; he has no connection to the incident of the child’s disappearance. The police and the Rescue Service are in contact with the child's family, and any suspicious reports or calls are being checked immediately,” he added.
