Tourist Arrivals in Armenia Decline by 11.3% in First Quarter of 2025
In the first quarter of 2025, Armenia welcomed 386,741 tourists, which is a decrease of 11.3% compared to the same period last year. This information was reported by the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
The largest share of incoming tourists are citizens of Russia. During January to March of this year, 144,072 Russian nationals visited Armenia as tourists. This figure has dropped by 21.8% compared to the same timeframe last year.
In second place are Armenian citizens living abroad. The number of these visitors in the first quarter of 2025 was 76,861, indicating an increase of 1.8% compared to the previous year.
Citizens of Georgia ranked third, with 59,624 visitors from this country arriving in Armenia, marking a decline of 3.6%.
