Entry to Armenia Not Restricted for Any Expert Visiting Azerbaijan

According to my information, the last time he violated the accreditation procedure and thus was not accredited; however, this time, after going through the proper accreditation process, his entry into Armenia was indeed allowed. This was stated by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, David Karapetyan, commenting on the participation of expert Joshua Kucher in the "Yerevan Dialogue" event, who had previously been banned from entering due to his visit to Karvachar during the Artsakh war.

"Not only concerning Joshua Kucher but also regarding another expert, there was a discussion. I want to firmly emphasize that Armenia has never restricted the entry of any individuals, especially from expert circles, who have visited Azerbaijan. Neither in the past nor currently has entry into Armenia been restricted for any expert who has visited Azerbaijan. We need to be able to work and we must also work with those individuals, particularly representatives of analytical research centers, who may have different opinions or positions regarding a number of issues. These types of forums and conferences also aim to clarify the positions of the Armenian government and strengthen them among those people and representatives of the expert community we work with and who are generally interested in our region. We are not inclined to invite to Armenia only those people who love Armenia and are satisfied with the policies pursued by Armenia. We want to explain our policies to a larger audience," said Karapetyan.
