Ukrainian Foreign Minister Reveals Details After Meeting with Aliyev in Baku
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiga met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku, as reported by "European Truth," citing the press service of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is reported that the Ukrainian minister and the Azerbaijani president had an "open and detailed conversation" regarding bilateral relations between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, as well as existing international issues.
"During the negotiations, special attention was given to the cessation of Russian aggression and the establishment of a just and lasting peace. Sybiga expressed gratitude to Aliyev for Azerbaijan's consistent support of Ukraine's territorial integrity, as well as for the humanitarian and energy assistance provided to Ukraine during the winter months," the media outlet writes.
They separately discussed further steps in developing the strategic partnership between the two countries. As noted by the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, "the participation of Azerbaijan in the conference dedicated to Ukraine's recovery, which will take place on July 10-11 in Rome, will be an important milestone on this path."
