Restrictions at Several Airports in Moscow
Temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operations of the "Sheremetyevo", "Zhukovsky", and "Domodedovo" airports in Moscow, the capital of Russia. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing data published by Rosaviatsiya.
“Restrictions on the arrival and departure of aircraft have been put in place at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports starting from 02:00. Restrictions have also come into effect at Sheremetyevo Airport from 02:00 as well. Temporary restrictions at Vnukovo Airport began at 01:17 Moscow time. Thus, restrictions have been implemented at all airports in the capital,” the agency's statement said.
Additionally, by 02:25, the operational restrictions at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports were lifted. At Sheremetyevo, the restrictions were lifted at 02:35 Moscow time.
Due to the necessity of ensuring the safety of flights for civil aircraft, restrictions on arrivals and departures were imposed on May 24 at 23:35 at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky, but were later canceled.
Moreover, Kaluga Airport will remain closed on May 24 from 21:45 Moscow time.
