The Attacker Who Stabbed Passersby in Hamburg Has Mental Health Issues

On Friday, the number of victims of the attack in Hamburg, Germany, reached 18, with the condition of four of the injured remaining extremely critical, three of whom are women.

The police assert that the motives behind the mass stabbing were not political. “The 39-year-old woman who randomly stabbed passersby at the station has mental health issues,” German sources reported.

It was also noted that the woman has no permanent residence. Earlier reports stated that at least 12 people were injured in the knife attack at Hamburg's main train station, with six in serious condition.
